Horticultural Arts Society of Colorado Springs: We would like to extend our congratulations to this fine non-profit organization which is celebrating their 60th Anniversary in 2022! HAS performs many wonderful tasks for our city, including the maintaining of Monument Valley Park, which is open to the public for free. Missouri Botanical Garden Plant Finder: Although Colorado high altitude gardening is not the focus of this site, the plant finder is excellent for use in determining a plant’s ability to survive in our climate. It gives a full description of a plant’s zone, water needs, known pest problems, and so on.
